First Tiger are a 4-piece band from Glasgow. Shorts (Vocals & Guitar), Stevie (Guitar & Vocals), Paddy (Drums) and Iain (Bass). Together they make some of the coolest tunes around
With an eclectic mix of influences ranging from Prince to Fat Waller to Radiohead to Duke Ellington, they excel in producing foot tapping, tongue-in-cheek "off kilter" sounds guaranteed to get the dance moves out of you, even if you didn't really want to.
Imposible to genre their ska type beats mix with genuinely joyful guitar hooks, fascinating rhythms balanced with the wry delivery of their poetic observations on personal flaws, relationships and self identity.
